Rochon is a native of the Los Angeles suburb of Torrance she is her parents being Zelma who is a nurse practitioner, and Samuel Staples, a business director and graphic designer. Cerritos High School in Cerritos California is where she completed her high-school education in 1982. She earned a bachelor of arts in broadcast journalism in 1986 from California State University Dominguez (CSUDH). Minors were the study of sociology as well as drama. Rochon was the featured speaker for CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities ceremony at the beginning of 2016.

Heather Storm works as a travel writer, television host and producer. A woman who loves cars, she served as the host of series for Garage Squad on Discovery's MotorTrend Network, Street Tuner Challenge on Speed TV and a guest on Jay Leno's Garage. Heather developed and hosts the online travel show Drive Yourself Local where she gives local tales of living in the small town while traveling across America in her 1965 Ford Mustang. Heather has also been featured in a variety of movies and TV shows like Nightingale Epic Movie and Tosh

Ullerup was cast as Julia Brynn, a character in the remake show Battlestar Galactica that aired 2006 on Sci Fi Channel. In the first two seasons on Sanctuary, she played Ashley Magnus until the character was deleted. The fans were furious over her departure, and many would like to see her back in the next shows. The show ended in 2012 but not without an intense controversy. Ullerup played the role of Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in the year 2016. Ullerup appeared as Maggie Thomas the estranged husband of Michael Thomas. Ullerup's regular role in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered series is Dale Travers since 2016.
